ResiAction Outreach Worker: Children's 

£9.50 - 14 per hour and sleep-in £60

This is an exciting new role to be based in our unique Crisis service. 


Since 2019 we have supported children and young people in communities in the West Midlands. 


ResiAction's vision originates from providing a secure base for children and young people who have gone through trauma.

The Role

As an Outreach Worker at our crisis and assessment service (which can be at various locations, currently Wolverhampton), you will be supporting children and young people with the following:


  • Emotional and behavioural difficulties associated with those in crisis
  • Complex needs
  • Present challenging behaviours
  • Suffered neglect/abuse
  • Seeking asylum 
  • Risk of CSE, drug and alcohol misuse, criminal behaviour and self-harm


What will I be doing?

As an outreach worker, you will:


  • Assist the management team in maintaining a safe and enabling environment 
  • Ensure the progression of children and young people
  • Encourage our children and young people to develop new skills and be their best
  • Be sensitive to the needs of those in your care 


Additionally, you would ensure a high level of activities for the young people, such as; canoeing, rock climbing, bicycle riding, walking, music, sports etc.
