Resiaction Staffordshire Ltd is committed to preventing acts of modern slavery and human

trafficking within its business operations and supply chains. We recognise our responsibility to take a

robust approach to slavery and human trafficking and are fully committed to acting ethically and

with integrity in all business relationships.

This statement is made in accordance with the provisions of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and

outlines the steps Resiaction Staffordshire Ltd has taken to prevent modern slavery within the

organisation.

Definition of Modern Slavery

Resiaction Staffordshire Ltd recognises that modern slavery can take many forms, including:

- Human trafficking

- Forced, bonded, or compulsory labour

- Slavery and servitude

- Exploitation through mental or physical coercion, threats, or abuse

- Being treated as property or a commodity

- Restriction of an individual’s freedom of movement

- Dehumanising treatment or exploitation for personal or commercial gain

- Ensuring that slavery, servitude, forced labour, and human trafficking do not take place

within our organisation or supply chains.

- Ensuring all workers are employed voluntarily and are free to leave employment in

accordance with their contractual and statutory rights.

- Adhering to all relevant UK employment legislation and regulatory requirements.

- Promoting a culture where concerns regarding unethical conduct can be raised without fear

of retaliation.

- All labour supplied to Resiaction Staffordshire Ltd is carried out within the United Kingdom

and is subject to UK employment laws and safeguarding standards.

Recruitment and Employment Practices

Resiaction Staffordshire Ltd maintains robust recruitment and employment procedures designed to

identify and prevent modern slavery and human trafficking.


We are committed to:

- Following safer recruitment practices at all times

- Verifying the identity and right to work of all employees

- Ensuring all staff are recruited through fair, lawful, and transparent processes

- Carrying out appropriate pre-employment checks

- Ensuring all employees receive contracts of employment with clear terms and conditions

- Paying staff fairly and in accordance with applicable legislation, including the National

Minimum Wage and National Living Wage requirements

- All staff engaged in delivering services for Resiaction Staffordshire Ltd are subject to

thorough and rigorous recruitment procedures.

Organisational Policies

Resiaction Staffordshire Ltd supports its commitment to preventing modern slavery through the

implementation of relevant organisational policies, including:

Whistleblowing Policy

Safeguarding Policies and Procedures

Equality and Diversity Policy

Employee Code of Conduct

These policies are reviewed regularly to ensure continued compliance with current legislation and

best practice.

Training and Awareness

Resiaction Staffordshire Ltd provides training to ensure staff understand the risks of modern slavery

and know how to identify and report concerns. Training is overseen by the Training Coordinator,

Operations Manager, and Registered Managers and includes:

Employee induction training

Mandatory safeguarding training

Ongoing learning and development modules

Awareness training relating to modern slavery and exploitation

Reporting Concerns

Any employee who has concerns regarding modern slavery, human trafficking, or exploitation is

encouraged to report these concerns immediately.

Concerns can be raised:

- Through line management

- Via the organisation’s Whistleblowing Policy

- Directly to senior management or Registered Managers

All reports will be treated seriously, investigated promptly, and handled confidentially wherever

possible. Employees raising genuine concerns will be protected from detriment or victimisation.


Review

This statement will be reviewed annually to ensure it remains effective, compliant with legislation,

and reflective of best practice.
