New Crisis Intervention Placement for Children and Young People (Ages 6–17)

We are pleased to offer a new crisis intervention placement designed to support children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) who require immediate, short-term stability.

This solo placement can accommodate young people for up to 30 days, providing a safe and structured environment while plans are made for a longer-term placement. The service is ideal for vulnerable children who are at risk of placement breakdown and need intensive, therapeutic support during a period of transition.

Young people are supported on a 2:1 staffing ratio, ensuring consistent care, safety, and relationship-building. The home is clinically supported by a linked Clinical Psychologist, who guides assessment, care planning, and staff practice.

Our staff team works therapeutically using the PACE approach (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity and Empathy), helping young people feel understood, emotionally safe, and supported to regulate and rebuild trust.

This placement offers a vital bridge between crisis and long-term stability, giving children and young people the time, care, and support they need to move forward positively.
